Today my post is about the Kainchi Dham temple which is most famous temple of uttarakhand also known as Neem karoli baba Ashram.
Neem karoli baba left us in the night of 10 September 1973. The Kalash containing his ashes was already at Shri Kainchi Dham. Then, exclusive of any plan and intend the construction work of Babas temple began in 1974. All His devotees cooperate as voluntarily. The artisans and masons busy in the building work have an early bath and wearing clean clothes began work, reciting Hanuman Chalissa and chanting Maharajji Ki Jai. When the construction work was on, the devotees also recited Hanuman Chalissa and did Kirtans by singing Shri Rama – Jai Rama – Jai Jai Rama.
Kainchi Dham is located near Nainital city of Uttarakhand. There is a place named Kainchi Dham, 17 km away from Nainital, where you can easily reach by road. The distance from Delhi to Nainital is approximately 324 kilometers. It will take about 6 and a half hours to complete the journey
If you want air service then Pantnagar airport is nearest 70 km from Kainchi Dham. Taxi or bus will be available to reach Kainchi Dham. If you want to travel to Kainchi Dham by train, then the nearest railway station is Kathgodam. Neem Karoli Ashram is 38 kilometers away from Kathgodam.
Kainchi Dham Kaise Jaye: Kainchi Dham Ashram, one of the religious pilgrimage sites, is quite popular among the devotees. The famous saint Neem Karoli Baba established an ashram here, which became a peaceful retreat where people come in search of inner peace.
