Khokana is located in Lalitpur district of Nepal which is nearby that capital city of the country, Kathmandu. It was previously a Village Development Committee which is combined together with another VDC called Sainbu, Bungmati, Dukuchhap and Chhampi to form a new municipality of Karyabinayak.
