Hi fellas!!
I'm not really a frequent traveler but whenever I get time and things around me favor a short vacation then I do avail the little opportunities that come my way. I will try to post regarding some of my travel experiences and photos I've taken along the way.
I'm starting off with Jordan's wonderful city of Amman. I was lucky enough to be able to visit this fantastic city a couple of times. During one of my visits I went to the famous Amman Citadel aka Jabal Al Qalaa and took some photos from a DSLR I'd recently bought.
I'm sharing some of the photos of this beautiful place here with all of you. Please bear in mind I'm no pro at photography :)
As a matter of fact this was my very first attempt at photography (I still suck by the way :P)
The citadel is on one of the seven hills that originally made up Amman.
It is on the highest hill in Amman.
Umayyad Palace - highlight of the citadel
Temple of Hercules - such a unique and amazing architecture
Colonnaded street - It had columns and buildings running alongside during Roman times
Roman Theatre - Can be seen right below from the hill.
There is also a museum at the hill which is a must visit.
If you're ever in Amman do visit this great historical site.
