Forget the things that you own and travel almost anywhere you can go...
A young child sitting astern watching the sunset over Koh Phi Phi Island, Phuket, Thailand (2018)
When I was 18 years old I decided that I was the type of person who wasn't happy being settled in one location. I looked around me, at the monotonous life that I was living, and felt a sense of claustrophobia. I needed to escape, or at least prove to myself that I could.
Almost immediately I got in touch with my closest friend and we planned a trip around Europe with the little money we had. We were both in tight budgets but we knew we could make it work. I didn't know it at the time, but I was about to ignite a passion for low cost travel which would take me around the world ticking countries off my bucket list and teaching me invaluable lessons about culture, history, societies, and myself.

I'm 25 now and I've started this blog to document my travels and hopefully encourage a new generation of budget orientated, environmentally aware, and culturally clued up travelers who can demonstrate a positive attitude towards world travel and conserve our beautiful Earth while fulfilling their desires for wanderlust and escapism.
