Good morning everyone. Scott and I had to cancel our travel to Tucson because my anxiety was just too much for me to handle. It sometimes happen but I normally am able to work through it. For some reason, I was not able to do it this time.

Fortunately, Scott is a very supportive husband who accepts that I have these anxiety moments and he rolls with. Because of this, we decided we would take a smaller trip down to the southeastern area of Texas where we have about 12 counties to collect.
Unfortunately, Texas is underwater and every Texas State Park we were planning to visit is closed due to flooding. Sigh.

We have decided we are going to do some traveling, but we will do it locally. We have been talking about how we really want to show off the counties we visit. Having visited all of the Oklahoma counties, we thought we would go to one and show you some of the amazing places there during some day trips . The questions are which counties and what to show you?

One of the places we have driven through numerous times on our travels is Osage County. This is not just a county but it is Osage Indian Reservation. At one time the Osage People were one of the richest tribes in Oklahoma. History is thick here as well so we have much to explore!
Since we will be doing a lot of travel over the next three days and have a family function Tuesday evening, we won't be posting much at all. This includes posting our "Have ya met..." posts. Please take a few minutes over the next few days and look at the #introduceyourself posts about two days in. See who's there and who you might have missed.
