[Travel Blog] Day 2 - Garden of Dreams & Arambol

Yesterday we woke up by ourselves around 09.30 in the morning after going to bed early. It was a refreshing contrast waking up in warm temperatures! We started our morning with a joint on Querim beach, just 50 meters away from where we have been staying. After chilling for a few hours hunger started to set in, and we decided to head into Arambol to find something nice to eat for breakfast.

We took a taxi and got dropped off right next to a super chill hippy café called 'Garden of Dreams' that we stopped by on my first day here. Unfortunately, on the first day, I was here my phone was charging back at our hut most of the day, but this time around I brought it with me. This café almost feels like the chillout area on a psychedelic festival. They serve tasty treats, workshops, live music, free WIFI and seem to generally attract a bunch of psytrance freaks!

While we where there I got in touch with my friend Hive account@sionnach over messenger. He's here in Goa as well as he has been booked for playing several gigs here (he's also a psytrance producer, go check him out!). He decided to head over to Arambol on his scooter and meet up with me & Hive account@umulius. After chilling for a bit we headed down to Arambol beach to watch the sunset and listen to the famous drum circle that has been happening here on every sunset since the 60's. We ended up hanging out with Hive account@sionnach the rest of the evening going to another venue called 'Planet Chillout' and a restaurant a bit later before parting ways and heading back to our hut on Querim beach.

This will be our last night at Querim, tomorrow we start moving more south towards Mandrem beach. We have a mission of renting ourselves a couple of scooters when we get down there, this will make us a lot more portable!
