Srisailam, the residence of Shri Mallikarjuna, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India, Shiva temple of Amravati is one of Pancharaamam, and the residence of Lord Laxmi Narasim, the incarnation of Yogagirigutt, Vishnu. Ramappa temple and temple of Thousand pillars in Warangal are famous for some small temple carvings. There are many Buddhist centers in Amravati, Nagarjuna Konda, Bhattiprolu, Ghantashala, Nellkondipalli, Dhulikatta, Bawikonda, Totlkonda, Shaligundem, Pavuralakonda, Shankar, Phangiri and Kolnapaka in the state.

The climate of Andhra Pradesh is mostly tropical and the time between November to January is best for travel. The monsoon season starts in June and ends in September, so during this period the journey will not be appropriate
