Hello Steemians, I'd like to share my thoughts on the city I currently live in and my entry to #YourCityVibez organized by @vladikras. The theme is urban. You can find the details here.

I think New York subway is the most urban thing you can find out there. People from different places, with different race literally meet and cross here. They all have one thing in common: trying to get to somewhere. We look at our phone or browse through the latest paper while we wait. Maybe we're not all that different.
There are wonderful people in New York doing their best to bring people together. Books on the Subway is one of my favorite initiative. They're turning the subway into the city's public library by hiding books here and there. You find it, read it and return it for the next person.
Recently, there's an ad from the Mayer's Office on the subway with the slogan: One Film, One New York. The ad suggests five films about New York for New Yorkers to watch. To encourage people watching these film, they even play them for free at parks in all five boroughs. This tells you how New Yorkers go to great lengths to bring the community closer together. I am going to move back home next month. I'm going to look for the same spirit in my hometown
Thank you for stoping by!
