As I promised recently, today I am publishing a small photo report on my recent visit to the Kunstkammer Museum, which I visited with my daughter during a trip there in the spring.
I must say that the photos below will not appeal to everyone, so people with shattered nerves to watch this is not recommended.
In addition to the halls dedicated to the life of the peoples of the world, the Museum has several rooms where exhibits with various mutations and deformities. But despite the general horror of the exhibition, museum is always full of people.
Since ancient times, Tsar Peter 1 organized this famous Museum, where he ordered to collect all sorts of strange finds. In the alcohol flasks are hundreds of embryos and newborn creatures with different physiological abnormalities in their development.
Among the exhibits there are also stuffed and skeletons of people and animals, which are scary to look at because of their abnormal appearance. For example, there is a two-headed calf and skulls of strange creatures, as if coming from horror movies.
However, my 12-year-old daughter was interested to see the exhibition. She was not strashno no, more than that, she carefully read the inscription, with explanations of exposure and strongly commented on their impressions.
I recommend guests from all over the world to visit St. Petersburg and go to the Kunstkammer. In any case , it is only the dead exhibits around that are safely hidden behind the glass Windows and do not bite )
