It was a fascinating ending of the long day in the land of terrific views, wild woods, beautiful lakes and mysterious swamps.
Despite of a strong wind my husband and I decided to climb up the old and rusty watching tower. The staff of the reserve use it to observe the woods and warn about danger like forest fire. The following equipment helps to define an azimuth:
The climbing to the top of the tower swinging in the wind was very exciting :) Because of wind it was difficult to take a photo as it needs longer exposure. But I have memories in my heart ... and a video took on my smartphone :)
This is how it looks when we get down.
It was cold because of wind and metallic construction of the tower we hold onto. But when we came back to our camping our friends were chatting around the fire. And it was so nice ending of our small adventure.
Thank you for stopping by to read my small photo story. I hope you enjoy it. I love to share with you my experience very much!
And now, I am on my way home!
