Today it was my first field trip since last autumn. And it was terrific! I didn't even expect to receive a whole range of impressions.
Ukrainian steppe is most beautiful in spring. Nature is awaking, primeroses are blooming, some of them just for a week.
Akvovsky canyon is a part of the regional landscape park Granite-steppe lands of Buh
At the bottom of the canyon flows the Mertvovid river.
I saw this plant in real for the first day in my life. It is Pulsatilla nigricans Storck. In ukrainian its name can be translated as "dream grass". There are different legends about origin of this name, but I like that telling that the flower has bowed head like it is sleepy.
And this is wild tulip. It's so tiny and delicate!
