Today I decided to take a little walk around my city. And at the same time, I'll give you a little tour. I went on foot, so I will show mainly the Central part of our city.Our city Slavyansk-on-Kuban is located on the river Bank. Residents and guests of the city are happy to fish here.

The city is small, the population is currently 66 thousand people. And the area of our city is 43 square kilometers.
The Central part of the city is the oldest part. It was here that the construction of the village of Slavyanskaya began, which later became a city.
In the Central part of the city preserved buildings that were built before the Revolution.
Here is one of these buildings, it is in very good condition. And it is now the School of Arts. But, because of the large number of green trees, the building is poorly visible in the photo.
Every time I pass by the former home of the merchant Mazepa, I get upset. Very beautiful house in the neo-Gothic style was built in 1913. And now it's in a dilapidated state. I'm sorry that this beautiful building with a stucco pattern and turrets for many years is not repaired.
But, in fact, not everything is so sad. Our town is cozy and comfortable, especially its Central street. And if earlier there were only one-storey houses and low buildings,
now there are new high-rise buildings.
The city administration is constantly taking care of the improvement of the city. We planted a lot of trees, flower beds and beautiful flowers.
There are many different monuments and beautiful parks in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. On the Waterfront monument to the great commander Suvorov.
Almost every city has a monument to Lenin. We have too. In turbulent times, monuments to the leader of the revolution in many cities were subjected to acts of vandalism. Ours was a little hurt, too. But, I believe that this is our history, it should be remembered and monuments preserved.
It is very useful sometimes to walk around the city. I looked into the new Park-Alley of love. And I was very pleasantly surprised. Here quite recently emerged a new figurine. It's beautiful! A cute cricket sits on a beautiful flower and plays its melody on the violin. And on each petal of the flower is written a wish for lovers and newlyweds.
I even decided to translate for English-speaking users all the wishes that are written on the petals of this amazing flower:
joy, prosperity, tenderness, smiles, good, happiness,love, health, understanding,respect, harmony.
To sum up, I want to say that our city is cozy, warm and blooming. Come to visit, we are always happy.
We have everything you need for a pleasant stay, hotels and parks, shops and playgrounds.There are some disadvantages, but what city could oboitis without them ?
In Slavyansk-on-Kuban it's a hot summer and a mild winter. And still nearby from us there are at once 2 seas: Black and Azov.
Welcome to our southern town.

Сегодня я решила немного прогуляться по своему городу. И в то же время, я устрою тебе небольшую экскурсию. Я пошла пешком, поэтому покажу в основном центральную часть нашего города.
Наш город Славянск-на-Кубани расположен на берегу реки. Жители и гости города с удовольствием рыбачат здесь.
Город небольшой, население в настоящее время составляет 66 тысяч человек. А площадь нашего города составляет 43 квадратных километра.
Центральная часть города-самая старая. Именно здесь началось строительство станицы Славянская, которая впоследствии стала городом.
В центральной части города сохранились здания, которые были построены до революции.
Вот одно из таких зданий, оно находится в очень хорошем состоянии. И теперь это школа искусств. Но, из-за большого количества зеленых деревьев, здание плохо видно на фото.
Каждый раз, проходя мимо бывшего дома купца Мазепы, я расстраиваюсь. Очень красивый дом в Неоготическом стиле был построен в 1913 году. А теперь он в полуразрушенном состоянии. Мне жаль, что это красивое здание с лепным узором и башенками уже много лет не ремонтируется.
Но, на самом деле, не все так печально. Наш город уютный и комфортный, особенно его Центральная улица. И если раньше здесь были только одноэтажные дома и невысокие здания, то сейчас появляются новые многоэтажки.
Администрация города постоянно заботится о благоустройстве города. У нас высажено много деревьев, клумб и красивых цветов.
В Славянске-на-Кубани много разных памятников и красивых парков. На набережной памятник великому полководцу Суворову. Почти в каждом городе есть памятник Ленину. У нас тоже есть.
В неспокойные времена памятники вождю революции во многих городах подвергались актам вандализма. Наш тоже немного пострадал. Но, я считаю, что это наша история, ее надо помнить и памятники сохранять.
Очень полезно иногда гулять по городу. Я заглянул в Новый Парк-аллею любви. И я был очень приятно удивлен. Вот совсем недавно появилась новая фигурка. Это прекрасно! Симпатичный сверчок сидит на красивом цветке и играет свою мелодию на скрипке. А на каждом лепестке цветка написано пожелание влюбленным и молодоженам. Я даже решила перевести для англоязычных пользователей все пожелания, которые написаны на лепестках этого удивительного цветка:
радости, достатка, нежность, улыбок, добра,счастья, любви, здоровье,понимания, уважения, гармонии.
Подводя итог, хочу сказать, что наш город уютный, теплый и цветущий. Приезжайте в гости, мы всегда рады. У нас есть все необходимое для приятного отдыха, гостиницы и парки, магазины и детские площадки.Есть некоторые недостатки, но какой город мог обойтись без них ?
В Славянске-на-Кубани жаркое лето и мягкая зима. А еще неподалеку от нас находятся сразу 2 моря: Черное и Азовское.
