#1 Swimming with whales, Vava'u, Tonga Islands

Hive account@narchuk starts us off today with a trip to the remote Pacific Island of Vava'u. It is part of the Tonga Islands and can be accessed from Auckland, Sydney or Nadi. Instead of going straight there, he spends a few days in Fiji first to relax and dive with sharks. He then flies directly to Vava'u, which is one of the few places in the world you can not just watch, but also swim with the largest inhabitants of our planet, whales. His stunning underwater photos are not to be missed.

#2 Road trip, New Zealand

Staying down under, we hop over to New Zealand next where Hive account@girlinchief shares with us her honeymoon around the South Island of New Zealand. Hiring a campervan, the newlyweds set off on their 15-day adventure, starting with skydiving and bungee jumping in the adventure capital, Queenstown. They then make their way from one picturesque landscape to the next, enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Tekapo, and wine tasting in the Marlborough region.

#3 Grafitti art, New York, USA

Our final stop today is New York City, where a judge has just awarded artists $6.7m in compensation for destroyed murals at the 5pointz complex in Queens. Thankfully, Hive account@tattoodjay has some photos of this amazing place that he'd prepared earlier. 5Pointz was a well-known graffiti art site and had a lot of followers and tourists who would visit it regularly. The controversy was caused when the owner had painters come in and whitewash the buildings during the night. The artists were not given any notice and sadly, the art is now gone forever.
