A brief return to the Swedish shore that hugs the sea with the wonderful Copenhagen has rejoiced me again, more than just the first time. The sometimes too quiet town, so beaten by the wind and old friend of the sea, reinvented with incredible boldness and gave the old cities an opening to the water, a beautiful urban regeneration of the docks of the industrial port still undergoing transformation.
Turning Torso - urban landmark, signed - as usually - challenged - by Santiago Calatrava - traces the urban route through yacht ports, residential developments and conversions of the old halls. In an endless conversation with the obsessive and permanent wind, responding whistling and sometimes defiantly, leads and opens surprising perspectives to the sea. Vastra Hamnen hangs so delicately on the shore, in a marvelous gesture of co-existence, proposes to the waves to play often shy, but only to manifest itself through a natural flow in a gesture of domination that you can not resist.
The wooden platforms, heated by the sun, where the same wind blows you, the pontoons mostly bathed by waves, the up-down game of the cliff, the sharp bridge that goes over the sea at the top of which you feel like you can fly from such a deep, helped by the strong currents of air that lift your arms, the rush of water, plot together in the opening of souls to absolute liberty. Blizzard, sky, clouds, so precious sun here hypnotize. And then all you want is to blow the clouds to one side and enjoy a perfect sunset.
