Dear Steemit friends and followers,
Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I will certainly please all those who have sweet tooth as I will take you to the Museum of Chocolate and Marzipan.

Found in Tabor, a beautiful historic town in the South Bohemian Region of the country, the Museum of Chocolate and Marzipan is the only museum of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Opened in September 2012, the museum houses a unique collection of artifacts related to the production of cocoa and marzipan, covering the whole process from growing cocoa to manufacturing the final products.
Occupying a total area of 1,000 sq m (10,764 sq ft), the museum also hosts several interactive expositions and exhibits, allowing the visitors to learn something about the history of chocolate production, the art of packaging chocolate boxes etc.
Visitors can also try to create their own products from marzipan and chocolate in workshops and take them home as souvenirs.

I saved the best (or should I say sweetest?) for last though so let me wrapped up this post by adding the key information that there is, of course, the possibility to actually taste some chocolate and marzipan products in the museum´s Chocolateria and through special degustation programs.
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.
