About a week ago, a friend of mine () and me visited the german theme park called 'Phantasialand'.
We decided to choose a day in the middle of the week (Thursday) when there was no holidays. Usually the waiting times for the different attractions are 30-90 minutes (when you visit the park on weekends or within holidays). We were very lucky with that day, because the longest waiting time we had to accept were 20 minutes for the River Quest
All the other attractions had a waiting time of 5-10 minutes.
When you enter the park at the Chinatown-Entrance, you instantly can see the free fall tower called 'Mystery Castle'
It is 65 meters high and reaches a speed of 92 km/h. The special feature is that it is almost completely dark when the free falls kicks in.
Next we wanted to try the new rollercoaster called 'Taron'
It is the first multi launch coaster in the world. The coaster crosses it rails more than 50 times! Its speed is 117 km/h by kickstart. We were so excieted that we drived 4 times with this rollercoaster! If you want to see a onride video of the Taron, click here!
Especially the second launch (at about 0:58 min in the video) is incredible!
Another quite good coaster is the 'Black Mamba'
It reaches a speed up to 80 km/h. Here you can see the lift for the first drop:
After some time it got really hot on this day. So we decided to visit another water rail, called 'Chiapas, THE wild water rail
It is very excieting, because there is a moment where the boat gets lifted into another rail and drops down a hill backwards! We were quiete wet lol. After the backwards drop, there is another big drop (forwards) as you can see here:
I also took a picture of this waterfall that is near to the Chiapas, because it just looks amazing:
And at this place, there is the last, final drop of the Chiapas:
When walking around the park there are also many shows you can watch. For example we saw a chinese dancing show in the subject area called 'Chinatown':
And if you travel from further away, you can also stay at this pretty nice looking hotel within Chinatown:
Altogether it was a great day! The weather was awesome, the waiting times were ridicolous short and the adrenaline level was on top all the time :)
I can fully recommend to visit Phantasialand
But if you do, make sure you are able to go there on a day that is not on the weekend and is not within the holidays. Otherwise, the waiting times are way too long!
