Entry #2 in this week's challenge - the well-known Praia dos Pescadores, Albufeira, the Algarve, Portugal. Most photos of this beach are taken during the day, and depending on the season it could be covered in lounges, umbrellas and people. This was off-season, in February, so not many people on the beach most days, but this shot of the sunrise just breaking over the horizon and illuminating the beach was unusual because I was able to get it from a friend's hotel in Old Town when we picked them up in the early morning to drive them to the airport in Lisbon.
