Entry #3 in this week's challenge - Long Beach, near Russell, North Island, New Zealand. We walked over a hill behind Russell for about 20 minutes on a nice but sometimes steep path, and found this wonderful beach, almost deserted except for a few people kayaking and walking, and a few dogs. It was a brilliant day as you can see. What caught my eye in this shot of the Bay of Islands was the moored catamaran offset by the clouds and the light reflecting on the water, and by the rocks and the three small birds on the shore.
