The Mediterranean Sea in Greece has this beautiful blue color that is one of the characteristics of the sea in Greece. Together with some beautiful coastlines that I find very interesting, most of the coastline is rough stone and rocks but there are also some sand beaches or beaches with smaller stones that are great for swimming and enjoying a nice time on the beach. I prefer swimming in the sea to hiking but on days when the sun is not so hot or in the early morning a hike can also be very interesting and seeing these beautiful spots is only possible with some hiking, since most of the places cannot be reached by car.
I like to spend my time on the beach and swimming in the Mediterranean sea. In Summer it is really nice when you sit there in the hot sun and enjoy the nice sea water for a swim. Usually in the Morning we went on a small hike in the hills before the sun got too hot. After we returned back to our house I often took a swim in the sea to cool down. Then I spend several hours as the sea lying in the shadow or sometimes in the direct sun depending on my actual time of the day and level of the sun.
