Since the rising of the sea levels worldwide due to global warming, our local beaches are being eaten away by the tides. With this many little treasures of years gone by start getting exposed.

This was our first day of scavenging for treasure

Just a closeup of some of the coins found, clearly worn by the ocean.
Strangely enough, some of the currency is new, but worn worse than the older coins we've found.
My Son, after finding some treasure, can clearly see here how high the tides come up, and how they've been eating away at the sand dunes
