My neightbour has a wild plum tree (kriecherl Baum) and half of the tree is growing over the fence, it is blooming right now and I am already awaiting for it to grow some wild plums for me to make some marmalade. Last year I made several cans of marmalade from these plums and I still have some of it in my storage room. Because of the great bloom of this tree I think this year will also be a graeat year for these wild plums. I have to look for some recipes for this fruit since I want to make something else than marmalade this year. Spring is so great when you can watch the different plants starting to grow and since I plan to get some own vegetables I am looking forward to this spring time that is starting at the moment.
