I love this bark as it's a really great colour, I think it's called a Prunus something, but I named this snap "Dead Donkey" because it grows in front of the Battersea Power station, on the South side of the River Thames, now being transformed into a brand new hotel complex.
Dead donkey comes from the nickname the power station was given by Londoners, because it still has four very Tall white chimneys at each corner. It looks remarkably like a dead donkey from afar.
