LET'S HUG TREES AND GIVE THEM SOME LOVE | Tree Tuesday Contest!

So, I know today's not a tuesday, but hey, there's a cool contest about trees!

I've been called a tree-hugger many times, because I'm into the buddhist lyfestyle and I've always been very much of a plant and animal lover, defending nature everytime I get the chance and encouraging everyone to try small things to make a change like recycling, using cruelty-free products and such.

HOWEVER, believe it or not, I have no memories of ever ACTUALLY hugging a tree. I knew of this trend through some of my friends here on Steemit and I was like "Why. Am. I. Not. Hugging. Trees.????" so I told them I'd do it.

I came back from hanging out with my dog and put on a cute dress and told my mom to take a picture of me hugging the avocado tree we have in our backyard. She asked me why, and I said "Someone has to!"

Who knows, maybe I'll start to go out and hug random trees just for the sake of it! Thanks Hive account@kus-knee for reminding me trees are not there just to look at and sit under.
