A late afternoon bike ride up north of Santa Monica to Pacific Palisades, which is just south of Malibu takes us to the end of the beach bike trail. Beyond this point, one must ride on Pacific Coast Highway, which is a bit too daring for me as you can see here The beach bike trail ends at the Bel Air Bay Club
