One of my most favorite challenges of all time happens to be #TreeTuesday hosted by 
First, there must be a flower. Always a flower.
The softness of your lips, brushing next to mine
Gather your feelings
Hide them in the clouds
Until the weight of time
Has blown them away
Forever
The tree lifts her branches to the sky, standing tall against the quiet of the day. I can put my finger in the crevice of the bark, it's covering is thick and green with envy. I caress its bark, rough to the touch, soft to the soul.
Did you hug your tree today?
How lovely to be bathed in beautiful color.
I love the leaves on the trees. I haven't met a leave yet that I don't love. Different shapes, textures, even size. There is just something gratifying about watching them grow into something bigger and better. Right before your very eyes.
And I think to myself: What a wonderful world we live in. A true privilege to be surrounded by all this beauty.
