Whilst cycling from the UK to Russia last year I got to visit 'Little America' also known as Kaiserslautern in Germany, whilst I was there I had some AMAZING hosts and one day I went on a trek through a forest with one, Caitlin and well... this tree met it's date with destiny (lightning) and is still standing!
