This is for treetuesday by 
Hive account@old-guy-photos. I call this the Fairy tree because it is located in Fairy Lake, near Port Renfrew, on Vancouver Island... and also because there is something quite magical about it! This is a natural bonsai tree... growing from the submerged stump of the original mother tree for many years. Talk about persistence, this tree never gives up!
The first photo was captured just after dawn, and you can see the mist on the water...
The second photo was taken from a different angle just before sunset.
I know some of my friends have seen these shots before... hope you don't mind me showing them again for #treetuesday
