Este predio es muy especial para nuestra ciudad porque es un espacio recuperado de unas ruinas del ferrocarril que hasta hace unos años estaba repleto de basura y de ratas.

Un grupo de vecinos le propuso al gobierno de nuestra ciudad transformar el lugar para combatir la problemática que se estaba presentando y vaya si lo lograron.

Este grupo de personas trabajó en forma mancomunada y coordinada para tratar de cambiar la realidad del lugar.

Hoy podemos observar un bellísimo lugar con muchos árboles y plantas donde gran cantidad de familias disfrutan las tardes, especial en esta época del año.
Today we can observe a beautiful place with many trees and plants where many families enjoy the afternoons, especially at this time of year.
En esta gran plaza que ocupa algo más de cuatro manzanas podemos encontrar una gran variedad de árboles y plantas las cuales se encuentran en esta época del año con un follaje muy abundante. Aquí la primavera es una de las épocas más lindas y de mayor esplendor de los plantas.

El lugar además cuenta con un sector con juegos de plaza para los más pequeños y gran cantidad de puestos para realizar diferentes tipos de ejercicios.

Espero les haya gustado el paseo por Plaza Algarrobo, un lugar que hasta hace algunos años no existía y que demuestra que entre todos se puede cambiar la realidad de un lugar.
