The amazing red of the Maple tree leaves in the forest behind the house.
Beech tree leaves in autumn. Beech leaves change to this rust colour but mainly stay on the tree alll winter until pushed off by new growth of leaf buds in the spring.
Tree colours reflected in the water as the Canadian Geese enjoy the bird sanctuary not far from my home.
Trees used for winter firewood. Hubby sawed the logs from fallen trees in the forest.
It won’t be long before all the leaves will fall to the ground. Trees will stand stark naked all winter awaiting the warmth of spring to cloth them again with green leaf dresses..
