The Blacklake Golf Resort has three different courses on the property; The Canyons, The Oaks, and The Lakes. The Canyons course is full of elevated tee boxes overlooking the fairways below. They say the air is better up here. The Oaks course offers a more sheltered setting here, with more difficult holes because of the forest scenery. This is the kind of course where you need to have good iron play while hitting your shots precise.
The Lakes course is the most forgiving of the three courses, with wide fairways that make it the perfect area for beginner golfers. They say it's a longer course, but from the looks of it it seems pretty wide open so I can't imagine it being too difficult. Only $50.00 to walk any 3 of the courses. Blacklake Bar & Grill offers up fabulous eats as well as solid suds. Another great day hanging out at the golf course.
