Trial By Comics "Supervillain" Drawing Challenge - Entry #1 (JOKER and HARLEY)

Hello Steemians! I am so glad that my brother told me about the drawing challenge of Hive account@kommienezuspadt or Trial by Comics with the theme "Supervillains". So, for those who wants to join or submit an entry here's the link for this challenge:

So here is my entry>>
"JOKER and HARLEY"

I would to share the process of this drawing...
So here are the materials I've used for this artwork.

1. number 2 pencil (ordinary pencil)
2. 0.5 gel pen(i don't know the brand because it is written in Chinese)
3. Faber Castell watercolour pencil
4. a small brush
   

#1. I've draft a sketch of Harley and Joker using number 2 pencil. Make the draft a little lighter so that you can able to erase it and won't leave marks of the pencil.

#2. Trace the lines using 0.5mm gel pen. Don't put to much pressure on tracing so that it will not dominate the colors.

#3. Color the sketch using Faber Castell watercolour pencil. So as for Harley's hair I first color it with #483(a bit yellowish brown color), #443(blue), #426(red). Then I spread the colors using a small wet brush to blend the colors.

#4. I added some black color pencil to some parts to darken the colors. As an example I took a closer photo of Joker's lips. (I use the #426{red} then shaded it with black to make the color darker)
