I went to Kawagoe!
Do you know Kawagoe?
If you have planned a trip to Japan, you may have heard about Kawagoe
Kawagoe is a place with lots of Japanese EDO period architecture!
Many old traditions remain, and fans gather from all over the world during the Kawagoe festival season
last summer my photo↓
This time I visited a lot of Kawagoe Sakura place!
There are popular Sakura spots on the river in Kawagoe where many people gather!
Here is the river in Kawagoe where the Sakura are famous
Sakura are very beautiful when taken from the side of the river
This Sakura road lasts about 500 meters
The collaboration between Sakura and the river is very beautiful
I avoid shooting as much as possible, but there are many people
There are a lot of people because we can take good photos on this small bridge
This Sakura back story is a little sad
A man living in Kawagoe provided seedlings for the memorial of the war dead ancestors in 1957…
So name of this Sakura is called "Homare-zakura"
The meaning of the name is "thanks" and "pride"
These Sakura is giving thanks to the ancestors who protected Japan…
We made a big mistake but we must not forget the gratitude to our ancestors for protecting us
And every time we see this Sakura, we must remember…Never war again
And I visited a nearby shrine
Here is a place to wash hands
A little Sakura are blooming nearby
This shrine names "Kawagoe-Hachimangu"
This shrine was built in 1030, There is a god of marriage.
It seems that people who wish for love fulfillment come to worship
Beautiful Hanamomo are blooming next to the shrine. This is not Sakura
Beautiful colors, wonderful😊
Kawagoe is a very popular tourist destination and not a large area, so visitor can go almost all in one day.

Manny Pacquiao Participates in Japanese Martial Arts RIZIN!
I was really excited about this big news because I like martial arts!!
Last year the same legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr as Pacquiao came to Rizin
When I heard that Mayweather came to Rizin I thought it was fake news,
Because Rizin is a small group in the world and there are few world class fighter.
But he really came.
The fight was very easy for him but I was excited that he fighting in Japan!(However I only watched on TV)
And next is Pacquiao,
He is a great hero in the Philippines and one of the greatest boxers in boxing history
It does not know if he still really fight in Rizin,
But I am really excited about the great hero coming to Japan!
