It's obvious by now that TRON is outpacing other projects by a long shot, and to be honest, I'm not surprised anymore. We focus so much on the tech, that we forget what actually works with most people, and for some reason we've become somewhat allergic to the idea of marketing crypto.
It would be unfair for me to say anything too negative about Tron, I mean, some of the criticism I've been hearing since I first heard of the project might still be true, but if there is one thing Justin Sun seems to excel in is marketing. He knows how to attract people, and knows how to make his face show up everywhere you look.
The airdrop hype has of course played a big role here, and nobody can deny that people will always fall for free tokens, but the way its been deployed and even binance being involved, makes this particular move somewhat genius if I'm to be honest.
In this bear market, Tron has literally doubled in a month, all meanwhile the marketcap for all of cryptospace dwindles.
We can sit here and talk about the tech all day, but is that really the reason why Tron is killing it? I think we need to stop fooling ourselves and get serious about marketing.
