Hola amigos, mi parcela está en una pequeña pedanía de la Axarquia llamada “Valleniza”, por su situación y cercanía a la costa (500 metros), su clima es básicamente mediterráneo subtropical, con suaves inviernos y cálidos veranos. Es conocida la región por tener “el mejor clima de Europa”, esto me ha permitido cultivar frutas tripicales de todas partes del mundo, aquí va una pequeña muestra:

CARAMBOLA (Averrhoa carambola) también llamada la fruta estrella, debido a su forma estrellada al cortarla de forma transversal.
Su piel es fina, comestible, de un amarillo claro que se transforma en amarillo dorado cuando la fruta está madura. Posee una pulpa translúcida, crujiente, jugosa y ácida. Suele medir entre 7 y 12 cm.
Carambola (Averrhoa carambola) also called the star fruit, due to its starry shape when cut transversely.
Its skin is thin, edible, of a light yellow that turns into golden yellow when the fruit is ripe. It has a translucent, crunchy, juicy and acid pulp. It is usually between 7 and 12 cm.
