As of 8:00 AM, July 30, 2023, Severe Tropical Storm Falcon (international name: Khanun) is located at 18.1°N, 132.7°E, about 1205 km East of Northern Luzon. It has maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 115 km/h. It is moving North Northwestward at 15 km/h.
The storm is expected to make landfall in the eastern part of Northern Luzon on Sunday afternoon or evening. It is then forecast to cross Central Luzon and Southern Luzon on Monday.
