This truck has a White 4 cylinder 371 cu. in. engine, 4 speed Transmission, 11.6 to 1 gear ratio. There was 1443 built in 1924. Most famous making its debut on the silver screen in the 1991 film Fried Green Tomatoes. This is the wrecker used in the scene where a car belonging to Idgie’s friend Ruth’s husband is pulled from the lake. With only a top speed of 15 mph.
