What you are about to read is a True Story, and everything has been kept intact with what my memory holds.
I had organised a visit to 
This was not a one-off; in those days I visited every 6 weeks or so just too generally get spaced out and forget the blandness of life, if just for a weekend.
The A55 is a nice long stretch of road, and around 30 minutes before my arrival I would stop on a lay-by and down a Speed bomb which would ensure I was ‘proper buzzing’ on arrival.
Speed is that kind of drug. It heightens your senses, turns you into a maniacal jabbering blabbermouth who can talk to anyone, about anything no matter the subject.
It also makes driving extremely easy. I tend to drive on auto-pilot under normal conditions but on Speed, I could have written a book, had a shave and taken my jumper off at 90MPH all at the same time.
I hasten to add, I didn't do those parallel tasks.
On past visits, I headed to his parent's house who seemingly didn't give a shit whether we were off our heads or otherwise.

This was due to our midnight top-up of a 'buddah', a tab of LSD which was supplied on a dab of paper. It was named 'buddah' as the full sheet would reveal a full-sized one praying.
I had bought around 40 of them or so from the local welsh drug dealer a couple of years earlier for the bargain price of £2.50 each.
Yes, it had taken this long for the supply to be extinguished.
So much for the touted untruth about addiction, people should try this at least once before listening to the hype and media. There’s a lot of bullshit around, so listen to one who has tried it many times.
After a session in Wales, you wanted some normality back in your life, not more the next day. Missing a full night’s sleep is more than a little demanding on your body.
Acid (LSD) tends to keep you awake, and sleeping does not happen easily especially when cocktailed with Speed.
It would be at least 6 weeks before I was back for another go. Think about getting pissed and the feeling the day after, it's similar but the government outlaws some substances and legalises others.
This visit would be different as

The ‘new place’ was close to Bethesda in North Wales and so I arrived a little early, buzzing to the brim and entered the house with anyone there being my ‘instant friend’
Initially,
Midnight approached and I asked
'I saved one for you mate', he said with a cheerful grin.
The TV was on and he offered to put some trance on which sounded good to me. Who doesn’t like trance when you off your head?
‘How about you’, I said to him and HeroinAddict, ‘you both tripping?’
‘Nah mate, that’s the last one, we saved it for you’
‘Mate, these microdots are fucking powerful man’,
I'm quite sure there was no malice intended, he was a decent friend I had known for at least 5 years and together had been off our heads many times previously.
I had not done a microdot before, so was not sure what to expect.
Before I knew it, this little brown thin stick (that’s what it looked like) was travelling down my gullet and very shortly things were going to start getting very different.
