After the recent shooting in Parkland, Florida, there has been lots of discussions surrounding gun control, including the banning of "bump stocks" (a very poor form of gun control that will likely not change anything).
But today, things got even more interesting when Trump met with lawmakers to continue the discussion of more scrutinizing gun control measures.
From the news story:
“I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida ... to go to court would have taken a long time,” Trump said at a meeting with lawmakers on school safety and gun violence.
“Take the guns first, go through due process second,” Trump said.
Time will tell what this means for the average law-abiding, responsible gun owner here in America...
