It might feel strange to many that might read this. I suddenly hit me today, that I have seen this kind of president before, or at least read about it. Trump has perfect self-confidence, he is brutally honest, he shows rage, anxiety, and irrationality (especially on Twitter). He dislikes being a president and is loving it at the same time. He seems to use the democracy in a way that suits him. Though he ran for the republicans, he seemed to outwit both parliament parties, and he uses people that put him in power, but also let them go easily if it doesn’t suit him anymore. He is ridiculed by the mass and the news and loved at the same time. He will say whatever he likes, and thinks he can singlehandedly change America.
I suddenly realized his charisma feels like Bismarck. Please don’t stop reading yet, if you find this histerical. I know Bismarck was a brilliant politician, and Trump, well ........maybe not yet. But because I see the similarities he might actually be able to change things, as Bismarck did.
Bismarck was in several wars, and because of it, later he prevented wars. He was very conservative, yet introduced socialism for workers, he was full of contradictions to what he should have been as a conservative.
And because he was a conservative, the implementations of some socialism was accepted by socialist and conservatives alike.
Maybe only a Republican Party in the United States will be able to change gun laws and introduce some good social rules to care for everybody, because if the Democrats do it, it will only be turned over again. Trump could do it. But he won’t, because of the biggest difference between now and then. Bismarck ruled for decades, because of the king supporting him. Trump needs to keep the republicans happy to get re-elected again, and won’t actually step out of line.
And so, I now eventually see Trumps potential, I also see nothing will really change.......
