Trump doesn't strike me as a Stalin, Hillary on the other hand, does.
I am not what you would call a Trump supporter, but,
the people inhabiting the existing power structure,
Hillary and the like, are complete, abject failures at best.
We live in a world built by people like Trump and the people he employs,
a world in which he has spent his career providing value, not force,
a world of abundance, prosperity and wealth, unprecedented in all of history.
This is in spite of the blundering of the states, the bureaucracies,
the people who cannot control their impulse to interfere with and control others.
It is because of the blundering of these "leaders" that we are already at war.
Economic warfare was declared on us decades ago,
and now the resurrection of the cold war and maybe some more hot wars
are being sold to us as a fix for the problems that previous wars,
and other failures of state have created.
It is a testament to the momentum of abundance created
by the limited freedom we have had,
that the economies of civilization have not collapsed before now.
Laws, codes, statutes, treaties, ever increasing mire of regulations
is smothering the existing abundance and preventing future creation.
The large, moneyed interests have created new tyrannies by regulatory capture,
and are milking the rest of us with ever increasing pressure
and ever decreasing benefit.
The riots are coming and some are here already,
but I am sure they will be blamed on Trump, even if he does not make it into office.
He is already being blamed for the violence of the people protesting against him.
This is obvious, blatant victim blaming.
Civilization is skating on the edge of a razor
and we are trying to blame the ills of civilization on someone who has never held office.
I don't know what Trump will do,
but if he just sits in the oval office for four years and does absolutely nothing,
it will be better than the wrecking crew of civilization that we have already seen in action.
Sometimes the devil you don't know, turns out to be not a devil at all.
One thing we do know about him is that,
if there is one thing that Trump seems to understand,
it is success, and I think we could use some of that right now.
More of the same, from people already inhabiting these offices, just will not do.
