It seems like recent events regarding President Donald Trump have made certain redditors even more salty about the current presidency.
Of all conspiracies they could've come up with they chose the least plausible.
And they just keep doubling down on it, making it all the more hilarious.
There is of course legitimate criticism to be made against the President, but apparently that's too much work for liberals.
It's tragic for them, but rather entertaining for the rest of us.
McMaster called out the Washington Post for lying and that didn't sit well with some people.
It's ironic because this is the newspaper which invented the term fake news, and it seems like it really blew back on them.
It even escalates to the point of incoherent rants and wishing for Trump to be shot.
It's hard to believe someone could get this emotional over something like this.
But you have to remember, they're not used to losing. Liberals have gotten their way for decades, and now that Trump has been elected, now that everything they have built is collapsing, they just can't accept it.
They won't accept that they lost for once, and they won't admit they were wrong and try to correct themselves.
This is what all this talk of impeachment is about, they still think they can get away with it, they think they can simply do away with Trump and everything will be back to normal.
But he's here to stay, and it's gonna be a lot of fun for the next 4 years, maybe 8.
And it looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun.
Some double standards here... Anonymous sources are OK with the left unless you don't like what they say.
At this point you might be wondering what the hell this is all about.
What happened is that Trump apparently disclosed some classified information about ISIS to the Kremlin, because, well, they are fighting the same enemy.
This is all perfectly reasonable, but of course the left believes that Russia is evil and that Trump is their spy a priori so they don't care.
The Washington Post reported on it as Trump disclosing information to Russian diplomats which he shouldn't have, and that's what made reddit explode in rage.
Even though the WaPo article itself admits that this was all perfectly legal.
But this post isn't about the facts, it's about the salt.
So let's move on.
It hasn't been this good since the election.
What an incredible year.
We thought 2016 was great, but 2017 isn't looking bad at all.
