The Trump Administration has promised to root out corruption and leaking of information. A step was taken in keeping with that promise.
Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards was charged with leaking confidential financial reports about the Trump campaign to the media.
Prosecutors say that Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards, a senior adviser to FinCEN, photographed what are called suspicious activity reports, or SARs, and other sensitive government files and sent them to an unnamed reporter, in violation of U.S. law. -The Hill
Banks are required to notify law enforcement when suspicious financial activity takes place. In this instance, the activity ended up appearing in 12 news reports.
