I love questioning everything. I love intelligent debate. I love learning. I despise lies, corruption and cruelty. I am joining steemit with the hopes of continuing my search for truths and to support independent media. Today's journalists are very brave (the uncorrupted ones). I hope to see more open and honest reporting and investigating into the world around us. Let's use the internet and the age of information to build better communities and celebrate diversity. There is so much to learn and share, and we can do this with kindness, respect and open minds.
After graduating from high school in '92, I began to read books of my own choosing. Many of them were completely contradictory to what the Canadian cirriculum had "taught" me. In particular one book seemed to really start me on the truth-seeking path. Can you guess what it was? Behold a Pale Horse by William Cooper. I actually had a photocopied version! Back then it was much harder to find information. It shook me, woke me up. Was everything a lie?
I guess I always had a sense that there was more to life than what I was being told. I never owned a TV and was skeptical of the "news" for as long as I can remember. Then in '96 my mother died of leukemia. Being 22 at the time, I was too young to understand the full picture of the cancer industry. The experience was very painful, I felt there was so much missing in her care and it left me with a lot of questions. I went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and became a doctor in that field.
I have spent the last 20 years diving deep into the world of western medicine, science, politics, religion, world history and sadly the corruption that infects all of it. These years have led me down very dark avenues but have also opened doors of hope. There are many people today devoted to uncovering truth in these same topics, why is it so hard to find them? And why are they almost always ridiculed, discredited and even killed?
I have never been much of a writer and I am hesitant to start sharing my opinions, but I feel it's time. I reserve the right to change my mind about anything I post in light of new information. I hope to connect and create a network with people who care about health, freedom and our beautiful world. It is time to let the light shine and see humanity realize it's magnificent potential.
