Like most of us built from the blood of these depleted landscapes we only find truth after acceptance of reality, as much as we try to avoid and as much as we are ushered in the opposite directions sometimes truth reveals itself.
I sort of knew the truth prior to more recent revelations but allowed it to be shrouded by labels and meanings. I was happy to leave it in a dark corner picking up dust, ignoring it for seemingly more pressing or important matters. Only in the face of reality can I see that it was the most pressing issue of all.
