When doing anything academic, I like to have a musical companion. It aids my speed, mind duration and just overall well-being when writing notes, doing assignments, tests and exams. (Normally I hum or sing quietly during the latter 2)
Regardless, one annoying thing is when I really want.. borderline need to listen to music and then my network fucks up or just outright goes off.
And that's what I'm experiencing now with a ghost 4G+ signal that is the same as having no data.
Thankfully, YouTube music noticed this lack of connection and immediately redirected me to the automatic download session.
This is a mix of my favorite songs and from my listening habits, genre and some odd listens they mixed other songs in there that they think fits my "musical vibe".
Sometimes it's mostly an artist that I don't generally like but it's not a song that I don't like.
Regardless, due to the situation, I'll be choosing songs from here for three tunes Tuesday.
I've participated in this initiative for quite a while so forgive me if by chance I submit a song that I have submitted before.
The Horse and The Infant ~ Jorge Rivera Herrans ft Epic the Musical Cast.
This is the first song of the Epic musical saga and as an intro it's just so beautiful.
Immediately it sets the scene for the full musical movie and the tribulations that Odysseus is going to be forced through. His fate isn't his own to be changed and he has to change himself to make the best of his choices.
Laugh Now Cry Later ~ Drake ft Lil Durk
I'm not a Drake fan. Not a hater either, but I don't generally flow with his chill soft musical flow of rap despite how influential he is, I've listened to just a number of his tracks. (Enough to be counted on my fingers)
Funnily, the majority of his songs that I've listened to are those that have feature from other artists and the same situation is in this song.
I like the tune, listen to the lyrics but can't seem to relate with and feel this song 😂
Most likely a Me problem though. Listen to it, what do you think?
Walking on the Moon/No Diggity ~ Ren ft Sam Thompskin
I remember when I just discovered Ren due to his It's a Man's World busking video. From then I was in a rabbit hole for all his busking performances and that's probably when this joined my downloaded playlist.
I'm not complaining though, lovely raw vocals and the simple guitar strumming rhythm is one you can get used to.
Take a look at the wonder that is Ren..
Just like that a #threetunestuesday post is made and three beautiful songs have been brought to your feed.
Gats thanks for this beautiful initiative
