How to change the server on esteem mobile application

Hello everyone and here with you today is Hive account@otemzi with a new tutorial I found somewhat important to write about, after having to change my esteem server almost every time I need to access it, the need to write the process came in and I wonder how many persons out there facing same issue with me.

First, to all the newbie who don’t know what esteem mobile application is

Esteem is an android mobile application developed by some talented individuals on the steem blockchain, now some of it uses are but not limited to:

• able to regulate your voting weight

Let’s look at our topic today which is how to change your esteem connected server to another existing server which is provide there, so no need to import any file.

So, you don’t need to crack your head or complain that’s it too difficult.

You probably must have downloaded the esteem mobile application and experiencing issues like no display when opened, that’s a white screen is presented to you upon accessing it just like the image below.

Probably must have tried to refresh page, restart your phone and still problem didn’t go away, now you will be glad to know that the problem is not from your phone but rather, the server currently selected is probably not available for use and it is usually denoted with a negative sign like the image below.

STEPS

• click on the top left menu icon

• click on settings from the provided option

• scroll down, there should be a server option

• click on it, list of available servers will be provided to you

• click on any of them and it will be ticked

• click on confirm
  If the server marks good, it means that server is operational

• Click on save changes

All should be okay now; all existing feed will be automatically loaded to your esteem application.
