Nature is the biggest inspiration for any artist, especially flowers. I use the flower motif everywhere: in my jewelry designs, as well as my wall decor pieces.
Today I will show you how to make beautiful flowers with beads and wire.
This is the final result.
We will use 5 beads for the center so we can make a flower with 5 petals, like a star. The petals will have 7 smaller beads each. This tutorial is a basic example on how to use beads for making a regular flower. You can get creative and use more beads, different sizes. Experiment and have fun!
The pictures are self explanatory. The secret is to be consistent and to thread the wire through the last bead, as shown.
As you can see, I made a few variations, because I need to decorate a tree of life wall decor I just finished.
I also make colorful flower earrings, with the same technique, just switching around the beads, the colors, the sizes, etc. These particular earrings are made with wooden beads, so they are light weight and very comfortable.
