I've noticed people are harsher on kids shows than adult shows, especially when it comes to silly humour and gross / toilet humour.
I've seen noone complain about the Under the Sea song parody about being able to poo in the ocean in Harley Quinn but I've seen multiple complaints about fart jokes in a kid's show that hasn't even been out very long.
People also act like silly humour in a kids show is "talking down to kids" and then go on about how the shows when they were kids were better, but if silliness in a kids show is talking down to kids, what is silliness in an adult show like The Young Ones or Monty Python? It's just a type of humour.
I remember South Park getting statements of "I could have done without the poo jokes" but that's still only generally been on the grosser south park episodes, not something of comparable grossness to the stuff kids shows seem to get criticised for .
The difference in response to the same sort of humour, when the only difference is the intended audience, makes no sense to me.
