Most probably don't know this about me, but I am a big Firefly fan. I have watched the show a few times, the movie a few more, and I have both comic series.

It was just announced there will be a new series of Canon original books by Titan Books and Twentieth Century Fox. Joss Whedon will act as a consulting editor for the books.

I hope Shepherd's past is covered in more detail, the "The Shepherd's Tale" comic was the one I was looking forward to the most as I love his character but really didn't do a good job talking about his past.

I also hope Inara's health issues are revisited, it was hinted at early on in the season, but then abandoned due to the short life of the show.
