Just a few hours ago Twitter announced that they are full blown rolling out their 280-char tweets! Gone are the days of the 140-char. It is hard to tweet out in 140 char even when links used to take up its char. During their trial period people were tweeting below the 140 char limit. There were only about 5% of the tweets that were found beyond the 140-char with the exception of the 30,000-char that was tweeted out a few days ago. lol
